RICHMOND, VA - Morgan Shepherd’s #89 Dodge will “go green” during Friday’s Busch Series race at Richmond, thanks to a combination of environmentally-friendly sponsors , Faith Motorsports announced September 4.
Pending approval by NASCAR, Shepherd’s green Charger will be carry associate sponsorship from Richmond-based Strange’s Florist, as well as associate sponsorship from two Ohio companies, team general manager Dana Tomes said.
In addition to logos for Strange’s, which will be displayed on the car’s rear quarter panels, Warrior Earth LLC, a land preservation firm based in Columbus, OH, will display their logos on the car’s rear TV panel, and Capital City Oil, a used oil recycler based in Mount Vernon, OH, will display their logos on the car’s C posts.
Other associate sponsorship for the race will come from White Tiger Digital of Springboro, OH and Kingdom Winners.com of Erie, PA, Tomes said.
The car will retain its historic candy-apple green paint scheme which promotes the team’s Racing With Jesus ministry efforts.
The team has submitted the car's proposed paint scheme to NASCAR and is awaiting the sanctioning group's approval of the proposed sponsors and their decal requests, Tomes said.
